Ko'olau Tenor Model 300 Slothead Beautiful curly Koa back and sides, with a special Spruce species that we had a small supply of named Ukrainian Spruce, from the mountains surrounding the Black Sea. Very similar tap tone properties to our Adirondack "red" Spruce, but a more creamy color. Excellent tone and volume, and our last Ukrainian Spruce top in stock. Binding is ebony, purfling is "rope" marquetry. Abalone rosette. Rosewood faceplate with pearl logo, slothead, rosewood fingerboard with pearl position dots. This is one of the last Model 300's with Rosewood fingerboards. Bridge pins are ebony with pearl dot inlay.
